To investigate the use of new technologies applied to the survey of the Territory and Architecture, the Summer School will focus its studies on some places of unquestionable historical and architectural value in Puglia. We will
analyze some of the "royal sheep tracks of

the municipalities of Lucera and Foggia and in the province of BAT
(Barletta-Andria-Trani). We will deepen studies with surveys of
(shelters)and some of
the paths of the "royal sheep tracks of

Particularly in areas identified by the municipalities of Lucera and
Foggia attempts will be made for research at the State Archives of
Foggia and surveys of areas of
"tratturo n.12 Foggia - Campolato" (video),
with particular attention to the
"Chiesa di Santa
Lucia" (video)
and adjacent underground. In Piazza Lecce, Lucera, will be executed the survey of the
"Well of the
Hanged", which
is, according to Andrea Amato, "a first type of public well, available to the whole population. Nowadays we can mention three wells:
the
first in
Piazza Lecce , the second in the castle,
and the third so-called Emperor pit, located in Via dei
Mercanti, actual Via Gramsci". Another site under study will be the territory of the town of Andria in which you will carry out surveys of the areas of
"tratturello
span> n.19 Canosa – Ruvo"
inherent to the path "Posta di Grotte – Posta di Mezzo - Posta di
Titolo – Chiesa

The
technologies and methods used
for the survey and documentation
are Architectonic Photogrammetry,
GPR,
GIS (Global Information System), GPS, Laser Scanner
3D,
Stereometric
Modeling (video)
,
Rapid Prototyping,
Remote Sensing Satellite
and UAV, Thermography. These technologies
and methods able to thoroughly analyze the morphology
of the resulting artifacts
and design interventions to safeguard
them. To give further educational studies
value the fact that all the studies promoted by
